Muncles Bridge - counselling for teenagers in North Scotland

Counselling services in North Scotland

An innovative new one on one service for young people (ages 11 – 23) in Aberdeen or nearby regions of North Scotland.

This “at home” service focuses on the challenges and opportunities that adolescence brings. Muncles Bridge smoothes the path to a stable and enjoyable adulthood. The program uses a variety of different philosophies to help the individual maximize their potential, all in a confidential, unconditional and non-judgemental environment.

While listening and acceptance are two essential skills for any Counsellor, I also like to take a pro-active role with my clients and therefore offer a range of services, such as those summarised on the right.  Through counselling, I aim to facilitate the client's personal and interpersonal quality of life, as well as your emotional, social, educational, vocational and spiritual development (regardless of your religion, or if you have none).

My aim is to empower young people to have self-confidence in their own abilities, healthy self-esteem - a feeling that your life is meaningful and to have a positive evaluation of yourself and your contribution to life.  Inter-personally I aim to support young people to have empowering and healthy relationships with friends, family and other significant others, to understand and move into an adult to adult relationship with one's parents and to explore issues of sex, relationships and friendship, as the need arises.
